The KaraFilm Festival award has been named 'The Ciepie' (pronounce: SEE-PEE). The Ciepie was designed by Junaid Chhabbra, a graduate of the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture who teaches at Karachi University. In the shape of a sea shell, the award is moulded in aluminium, signifying the young and modern city-on-the-sea that is Karachi. |
