REGARDING FILMS PREVIOUSLY ACCEPTED FOR THE 2007 FESTIVAL

If your film had already been accepted for the originally scheduled 7th KaraFilm Festival in 2007, you do NOT need to submit your film again.

All films accepted in 2007 will be considered automatically for this year’s festival which covers two festival cycles. Although, because of screening time constraints, we cannot guarantee that all previously accepted films will be screened at the 2008 festival, we will endeavour to ensure that we are able to screen most, if not all, of the previously accepted films. Special priority will be given to films that are more recent. All previously accepted films will, however, be included in our catalogue.

After new submissions are considered and final screening selections are made, we will inform you of the decisions accordingly as well as the dates for sending the masters.

We realize that this may mean disappointment for a small number of filmmakers whose films had already been selected for screening in 2007. It has been a very difficult decision taken in difficult circumstances and we hope you will be able to show the same kind of understanding and support you have given the KaraFilm Festival so far.
