His short film “Through the Clouds” received the P’ Asturias award in 2001 at the 40th edition of the Gijon International Film Festival. Vigil’s documentary “Fulfilment” received a special Mention at the Munich International Film Festival of Film Schools.

SYNOPSIS
When a son visits his crippled father to help him clean his apartment, he finds a hole in the wall behind some furniture. Upon closer inspection he realises that a small boy and a grown man are living in the apartment next door. He watches as the small boy hides in the compartment next to the hole. Locked in and not being able to breathe, the son realises he has to rescue the boy.

Ahmad Habash is a Palestinian Filmmaker and Animator who was born in Iraq in1976. In 2003, Ahmed produced his first animation film, “Coming Back.” The film received a special mention Jury prize at the Biennale del Cinema per la Pace in Pisa, Italy in 2005. Ahmad is now working as professional freelance animator, visual effects artist and filmmaker.

Over the last six years she has expanded her experience by working on big films such as “Garage Days”, “Mission Impossible: II” and the second and third part of “Matrix.” “Sexy Thing” is her debut as a Writer/Director.
